Access to a good education is nothing to take for granted in Pakistan. Many children, particularly from the Christian minority (about 1.6% out of a population of 180 million) hardly dare to dream of it. The Pakistani Nehemiah Team has opened two schools in order to help meet this need. The New Hope Grammar School has been operating for several years now, and St. Philips Public High School was opened in 2014. They have over 200 students already, more than 60% girls. Computer and IT courses will be added to the curriculum shortly, to prepare the students for our digital world. Because of financial or family circumstances – some are orphans -the majority of the children in the “Nehemiah Schools” have no other chance of getting an education.
With your support, the Pakistani Nehemiah Team can continue towards its goal: to establish five schools for 1500 boys and girls over the next ten years.
