Project start of the learning support was already in June. We are very happy to support these children who had hardly any help with online lessons during the lockdown. The program has been very well received and the children are enjoying learning while their mothers chat in the contact café. We have children from grades 1 -5 as well as three children who have only recently arrived in Germany and attend a transition class. In order to be able to support these children according to their level of knowledge, they are divided into small groups.
For this valuable work of learning support, we are looking for additional staff starting in September who have a big heart for children and some experience in tutoring or children’s work. Three hours on Wednesday afternoons – that is time very well spent. We would be happy if YOU would contact Elke soon at e.feld@nehemia-team.de. Already now a big thank you!
