The appeal for donations for the “Corona Solidarity Fund” of the nehemia team has so far raised over 17.000 € (as of April 17th) for the most urgent needs.

With this money the projects in Pakistan, India, Kenya and the Ukraine could already be supported at short notice and e.g. the procurement and distribution of food and hygiene articles could be advanced. The “Corona education work” could also be expanded by many volunteers. Due to the drastic protection measures, many nehemia projects and their surroundings are still in a state of emergency that will last for the next months. While in Germany some of the effects of the corona pandemic can be absorbed with government aid, in most developing countries it is the poorest of the poor who are affected – as is unfortunately so often the case. In order to be able to help here, at least in the area surrounding our projects, we still need financial support and assistance!
