In November 2024, part of the German nehemia team met with co-workers from various nehemia team projects in Asia at the “Home of Blessing” in Thailand. The aim was to jointly set the strategic course for the future, drive forward project development and strengthen the valuable international relationships.
Ibu Luisa and Ibu Rahel, the heads of the kindergarten project on Borneo, took part in such a meeting for the first time.
They presented their visions and goals, which paved the way for a well-founded and clearly structured concept for the next two years. This includes not only the implementation of a comprehensive training package, but also an improvement in infrastructure and the establishment of an Indonesian charitable foundation. This association will not only assist the existing eleven kindergartens in our network, but will also enable new facilities to be officially registered – a crucial step towards recognition by the Ministry of Education.
The foundation of the association has already been initiated and trustworthy and committed association members are ready to carry the vision forward.
