At the beginning of the new kindergarten year, another major logistical operation was required: more than ten scattered kindergartens had to be supplied with paper, pens, exercise books, and other materials—ordered via WhatsApp, paid for in the provincial capital, and delivered by freight forwarder.
Our supervisors Ibu Luisa and Ibu Rahel covered the last leg of the journey on motorcycles – it’s amazing how much space there is on them.
There is also plenty of other good news to report: three teachers have started studying education alongside their work, and new kindergartens have been opened in three villages after the staff spent three weeks each doing internships at our model kindergarten in Melingkat.
