In recent years, the water supply in the Home of Blessing repeatedly reached its limits during the dry months. Because of the Corona crisis all girls went back to their home villages during the school holidays, the time was used to improve the drinking and process water supply in the Home of Blessing: The existing deep well was repaired. In addition, two large water ponds were dredged and equipped with filter systems. This was made possible by a generous donation from the Helga & Dr. Erich Schwanhäußer Foundation. Now it is once again possible to shower, wash, rinse, pour and splash around all year round.
