“Sewing masks” for the benefit of children in Romania was a complete success. Within a short time, a total of about 800 masks were sewn by German and Romanian supporters and friends. This resulted in a total donation of about 8000 € for the “House of Light” in Sighisoara/Romania, which now directly benefits children with disabilities. Our big thanks go to the many hard-working seamstresses and to the Sparkasse Siegen for the generous donation!

The therapeutic work in the day-care centre had to close due to conditions imposed by the Romanian government, as did the schools. A few days ago, the emergency program of the Romanian government was relaxed so that the children can be looked after by the staff again on a recreation area. This means a great relief for the families.
